LD22

Legislative District 22 was established by the Independent Redistricting Commission in April 2012 based on the 2010 census. LD22 is made up of parts of Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Sun City West and Sun City Grand.

Ours is one of thirty legislative districts in the state of Arizona. We are in Maricopa County and most of LD22 is in US Congressional District 8. Two of our far northwest precincts are in Congressional District 4.

State Committee

The State Committee is the governing body of the Arizona Democratic Party. Membership in the State Committee consists of persons elected within the Party structure, as provided by Arizona State Statute. The Arizona Democratic Party takes pride in making certain all regions and all communities are represented in the State Committee. State Committee Members are voted into office by their precinct committeemen of their legislative district or county, every two years.
